What is “Quantity-Based Discounts” feature in Image Upload by size product?
The Quantity-Based Discount feature allows admin to offer discounts to the customers according to the quantity they’ve ordered for Image Upload by Size products.
For example, if a customer orders a specific number of the same design, they automatically receive the discount percentage you’ve configured for that quantity range.
Note: Since Kixxl calculates the price based on the design’s square inches, the price of each design is first calculated individually. That price is then multiplied by the design quantity to get the total order value. Finally, the applicable quantity discount is applied to the overall price based on the quantity tier the customer qualifies for.
How to Enable Quantity-Based Discounts as an Admin?
- Go to Kixxl → Products → select product type “image upload by size”
- Scroll to the “Image upload by size settings” and checkmark the “Quantity-based discount” box to enable it.
- Once enabled, you can create multiple discount tiers by specifying:
- Minimum Quantity
- Maximum Quantity
- Discount Percentage (%)
For example:
Minimum qty | Maximum qty | Discount % |
1 | 20 | 10% |
21 | 50 | 15% |
51 | 100 | 20% |
- This means any customer ordering between 1 and 20 designs (for example, 2, 4, or 15) will automatically receive a 10% discount on their total order.
- If a customer orders 25 designs, they’ll qualify for the 21–50 tier and receive a 15% discount instead.
NOTE:
- Admin can add as many discount tiers as needed.
- Existing tiers can be edited or deleted at any time.
- Each tier lets you define a different quantity range and discount percentage.
When customers place an order, Kixxl automatically checks the total quantity, applies the matching discount tier, and displays the discounted price before checkout. The customer only pays the final discounted amount.
