Downloading and Exporting Sheets
This guide walks through how to view, edit, and customize your Orders as admin within Kixxl on Shopify.
By managing orders directly through Kixxl, you eliminate the need for back-and-forth file chasing or manual adjustments in design software. The system ensures all your customer uploads are organized, editable, and production-ready, helping you save time and reduce cost.
Ensure your login and the Kixxl Installation to the Shopify store.
Accessing the Orders
Go to Shopify Admin, Click Apps → Kixxl → Orders.
(Here, you’ll see a list of all customer orders that included a Kixxl product (e.g., gang sheets, stickers, rolling canvas, etc).
Click on an order to open it. Here, you’ll see:
- Generated gang sheets: the print-ready files designed by the customer
- View sheet: it will give you a preview of the layout (how designs were placed)
- Customer Information: customer name, email/contact, number of orders placed in total, payment method, and shipping status.
- Payment Status: Paid/Unpaid
- Shipping method: Standard / Other
- Notes: Any specific instructions from customer related to order.
Downloading and Regenerating Sheets
You can download one, more than one, or all print-ready files (gang sheets) in all orders simultaneously.
Simply, click on the small box, select the orders, and click on the “Download All Sheets” button. You can access those downloaded files from your system.
The files are usually downloaded as a ZIP folder containing all the generated sheets. It saves time for print operators by giving them all the required print files in a single download.
Pro tips:
- Check previews first: Always view sheet before downloading to confirm the design looks correct.
- Batch downloads: Use the select-all option to save multiple sheets at once.
- File safety: Keep a backup of downloaded ZIPs before re-generating, in case you need the old version.
Regenerating Sheets:
This means the app will regenerate the gang sheet from the order’s design files again. It’s useful when:
- A design or layout was updated after the first generation.
- Any changes made in design (like spacing, cut lines, etc.)
- A sheet got corrupted or needs to be refreshed.
It ensures you always have the latest, correct version of the sheet.
Troubleshooting
Download not starting?
Refresh Shopify Admin and try again.
Corrupt ZIP file?
Delete and re-download.
Regeneration fails?
Contact Kixxl Support.
