Forwarding Orders
Kixxl’s feature Order Forward Pro allows you to forward orders to third parties, vendors, or production partners without needing to manually download and re-upload files.
Accessing the Orders
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Apps → Kixxl → Orders.
- Select the order you want to forward.
- Review customer uploads and the generated gang sheet to ensure everything is correct.
Using Order Forward Pro
2.1. Inside the order, you’ll see an option to Forward Order.
2.2. Select the store from the store list. This lets you send the gang sheet + customer order details directly to:
- A print production partner
- Another team member
- A different fulfillment facility
2.3. Add notes:
You can leave optional notes or instructions for the receiving store. For example, special handling instructions, print preferences, or delivery details.
2.4. Upload Shipping label:
Attach the shipping label file (usually a PDF or image) that the receiving store will use to ship the order. This ensures the package is ready for dispatch.
2.5. Click “Forward”.
Quick tips:
Always double-check the generated sheet and uploaded images before forwarding.
If you often use the same shipping instructions, keep saved templates or snippets for faster forwarding.
2.6. You can also Cancel the forwarded order.
Key Considerations:
- You can forward orders to only those having Kixxl installed in their Shopify store, too.
- All forwarded and received order details are available under the “Orders” tab in Kixxl.
Troubleshooting:
“Forward Order” button doesn’t appears?
Destination store may not have Kixxl installed. Install Kixxl on the partner store first.
Order forwarding fails?
Try uploading a smaller shipping label, check connectivity, or verify permission.
