How to Configure Buttons on Product Page?

Buttons on Product Page:

While setting up products in Kixxl, you can configure different buttons that customers see on the product page. These buttons define how customers interact with the gang sheet builder. 

1. “Create a Gang Sheet” button:
   
   

• This button opens the Kixxl Editor for the customer.
  
  
  
• Customers can design their own gang sheet by uploading artwork, arranging designs, resizing, and customizing within the editor.
  
  
  
• It’s best for customers who want full control over the design and layout of their gang sheets.
  
  
  

2. “Upload a Gang sheet” Button:
   
   

• This button allows customers to upload a pre-made gang sheet file (in supported formats) directly, without needing to open the editor.
  
  
  
• It’s ideal for customers who already have their gang sheet prepared in other software, like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. 
  
  

• This button offers a faster checkout experience since no editing is needed.
  
  
  

3. Both: 
   
   

• You can enable both buttons for the customers (upload a gang sheet + create a gang sheet) for a product.
  
  

Advance Button Settings:

Admins can further customize these buttons to match their store branding and user experience. such as:



Button Text: 

You can customize the text displayed on each button. For example: Instead of “Create a Gang Sheet,” you might label it “Build Your Sheet.”

Button Color: 

You can choose custom colors for the buttons to match your store’s theme.

Adding Buttons on the Product Page

Button Visibility in Kixxl: 

The “Create a Gang Sheet” and “Upload a Gang Sheet” buttons will only appear on your product page if the Kixxl app block is added. By default, these buttons won’t show unless you add them inside your Shopify theme editor.



How to Add the App Block in Shopify? 

1. Go to your Shopify Admin.
   
   
2. Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
   
   
3. Select the theme you want to edit and click Customize.
   
   
4. In the theme editor, go to the Product Page template.
   
   
5. On the left sidebar, in the footer section, click Add block.
   
   
6. Search for Kixxl – Gang Sheet Builder under the apps section.
   
   
7. Add the block to your product page.
   
   
8. Save your changes.
   

Once App Block is added, you can change button settings on products accordingly. 

How to Add or Change Button Settings on the Product Page?

1. Log in to your Kixxl Admin Dashboard in Shopify and select Products. 
   
   
2. In the Products tab, you’ll see already configured products. 
   
   
3. Select the product for which you want to add the button. 
   
   
4. Navigate to the “Buttons on Product Page” section and select the buttons you want to show on the product page. 
   
   
5. In Advanced Button Settings, pick a color and add text for the button. 
   
   
6. Click “update” to save the changes. 
   
   

Go to your Product Page and check if the Buttons are visible properly.
