Using Kixxl Editor: Images & Design Tools
The Kixxl Editor makes it easy to design, customize, and arrange your gang sheets before printing. This guide walks you through all the tools and features step by step so you can get the most out of the editor.
Make sure you are logged into the same Shopify store where Kixxl is installed to access the editor.
In Kixxl Editor, the Images & Design tools lets you bring your own designs or artwork into the editor and control how they appear on the gang sheet. i.e you can adjust images with precision, and organize multiple designs on one sheet for efficient printing.
Here’s how it works:
- Search or Upload Images:
You can use Kixxl’s built-in image library to find ready-to-use designs
OR
You can upload your own designs directly from your device.

2. Adjusting Image Settings:

- Quantity: Use Add (+) to place multiple copies of the same image.
- Copy-Paste: Quickly duplicate images with copy and paste.

Moreover: by right-clicking on an image on the canvas, you’ll see multiple options, such as:
- Send Forward: Selecting this option will move the selected image one step up in the layer order. If it’s behind another design, it will move in front of it.
- Send Backward: Selecting this option will move the selected design one step down in the layer order. If it’s covering another design, it will move behind it.
- Trim Extra Space: Trims the extra space occupied by the image on the gang sheet.
- Crop: You can crop the image accordingly.
- Add Quantity: This option will add the multiple quantities of the same image on the canvas.
- Remove Color: This feature lets you remove any color from your image, without changing the image’s original design. also, you can replace the removed color with other color.
